I believe in utilizing a holistic approach in counseling to create good mental health and a healthy life balance. I feel that if an individual is wanting to make sustainable changes, it is necessary to look at each life area. These areas may include, but are not limited to, mental health, physical health, social health, financial health, and spiritual health.
I believe that creating a healthy life balance is key to making long-term sustainable changes. A healthy lifestyle is important in managing depression, anxiety, and maintaining sobriety. I believe that by bringing these other areas into the counseling/treatment process, yout will not only be able to make gains in the area of mental illness or addiction, but also lasting and manageable lifestyle changes. I believe a healthy life balance will help decrease/ manage symptoms of mental illness as well as aiding in the remission of these symptoms. I am very excited to be working with you to help you thrive.
